Cold Outside? Keep Warm with Turkey Chili

When it’s cold outside what do you do?  If you’re like me you turn up the heat, find your favorite thick socks and blanket and hope the ‘hawk’ (what we refer to as the bitter cold) passes soon.  But, that’s at the end of the day.  Tomorrow we will have to wrap up like we’re going camping on some snow peak if we want to have any hopes of keeping away frostbite, or worse...germs!
Tomorrow they’re calling for single digit like temperatures in the morning.  When you have to run around in bitter cold temperatures you need more than a pair of thick socks to help you stay warm and healthy.  Besides my warm bed and blanket to look forward to at the end of a cold day, I have my homemade chili.  Turkey chili that is.
