3 Tips to Land Summer Jobs for Tweens & Teens
What was your favorite school lunch? My first hot school lunch love? Spaghetti and cinnamon rolls. Coming in as a strong second? A delicious peanut butter and honey sandwich. I used to love when I would get my hot lunch plate and on it would be a creamy layer of peanut butter and honey slathered between two pieces of white bread and partnered, always, with vegetable soup. Good times. The kiddos don’t eat the schools hot lunch. Even if they did I don’t think they would be able to enjoy a peanut butter and honey sandwich these days. Last time I was in a school lunchroom I only saw peanut butter and jelly and it was pre-packaged. Plus, with the new health standards in the lunch room – it’s no question that white bread is apart of a memory of days long past. So I brought back an oldie but goodie for the kiddos to enjoy at home. Less the youngest who can’t eat nuts. However, she did say she would take one with just honey.
