Creamy Shrimp & Pasta Salad
When asked to come to dinner what do you bring? Home training 101: Don’t show up to anyone’s home empty handed. Home training etiquette dictates that it doesn’t matter if it’s ice, something to drink or perhaps a dessert or a side dish. Just have something in your hands to offer the host/hostess. Personally I don’t mind if guests show up empty handed, as long as they come ready to laugh and participate in some good grown folk conversation. But I will say that it is a plus when someone brings something yummy to dinner and in turn introduces me to something new. I fell in love with this shrimp and pasta dish brought over by a friend of the family. I have altered the recipe by adding Asiago cheese, green onions and sour cream. I must admit, for the recipe inspiration alone, I am glad this friend of the family didn’t show up to dinner with empty hands.
