Have the Kiddos Make a Photo Album for Grandma This Mother’s Day
This weekend it’s time to get down to some serious mama appreciation. After watching Kevin Durant's MVP speech and naming his own mama the ‘Real MVP’ it dawned on me. Appreciation is a nice gift any time of year, but especially on Mother’s Day. Often the clothes getting cleaned and food cooked are never appreciated. But once in a while a real ‘Mama, thank you’ is offered. And once in a blue moon I’ll get, ‘Mom, you’re the greatest’. Those moments make me appreciate my own mama that much more. While I cook Mother’s Day dinner, I am going to have the kiddos work on a Mother’s Day project for their ‘granny’. We are going to create a photo album. Instead of just including pictures of the children, we will include pictures where either granny was there or pictures that signify a special moment she was a part of. If you want to appreciate the grandma or special auntie in your life who has helped you a long the way, then create this wonderful appreciation book with the kids.
First I found these templates from Microsoft Office (a trusted source to download templates). You can download and use these in PowerPoint.
