Aging: My New Exercise Motivator
What does the Fourth of July mean to you and your family? To be honest we don’t take time to reflect on the historical aspect of the Fourth of July. In the back of our minds we know that the occasion did not include our ancestors in the celebration. However, on this day most of the people we know and love are off from work and we all have a shared date to feast together. Folks come in town and sit with grandmamma and granddaddy for a spell. Cousins who have yet to meet or who haven’t seen each other in a couple of summers get to throw water balloons at one another. The older generations gets a chance to pass down traditions and recipes. For these reasons the Fourth of July means so much to our family. Parenting Through the School Years wishes you a safe and happy time with loved ones this Fourth of July. Whether capturing moments on a camera or cell phone we hope that you create and crystallize memories that you can continue to pass down from one generation to the next.
