7 Perfect Snacks for Spring Break Travel

Perhaps you are one of the lucky ones and get to travel this spring break.  If there is no stay-cation for you then you need to get snack ready.   I don’t believe in wasting money, and that s exactly what happens when you stop time and again at convenience stores for a snack or something to quench your thirst.  Hopefully these snack and drink suggestions below will not only give you some ideas but save you some money too while you’re on the road.  Happy travels!

First a Few Must Haves…

Are your travels long or short?  Anything over a few hours, I believe, requires proper snack packing.  The Rubbermaid 50 Quart DuraChill Wheeled 5-day Cooler is great for keeping food and drinks cool for up to 5 days!

Another must have? Car Auto Trash Can so the trash isn’t falling out of the car when you finally reach your destination.

And paper towels and wipes for messy, sticky hands!

Bounty Paper Towels

Wet Ones

7 Snack and Drink Suggestions for your Road Trip!

Heart Kabobs

Fruit! Of course they will keep well in the cooler!  But looking cute too, it will be hard for the kiddos to resist.

Homemade Chicken Nuggets

When I was a kid my mama would pack up containers of fried chicken for us to nibble on during our road trip.  These have got to be healthier than any you’d find at a side of the road restaurant.

Homemade Blueberry Muffins

It takes no time to put these together and when in a muffin liner, they come in their own packaging.

As for drinks my three love the Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters

I normally like to buy the Capri Sun All Natural Juice because it seems to be a healthier alternative, but when we take road trips I am not particular a stickler for the rules

Go-Go Squeez Organic Apple

Potato chips are usually a staple on our road trips.  But I think this alternative of salty and sweet fills any munchie car attack.  Unless you want to go for boring old trail mix…, I find mixing these two lovelies in a bowl is a nice collaboration.

Yogurt Burst Cheerios
Cheez-It

What snacking goodies do you like to pack on road trips for the family?
